IT Department Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the structural unit in line with company objectives;
• Initiate, plan, organize secure and high-quality development of the company’s IT and IS;
• Implement improvements in company systems, optimize and enhance business processes in line with the latest IT and IS solutions, trends, and best practices;
• Organize, lead, and oversee various IT projects, including system implementation, enhancement, and updates;
• Plan the unit’s strategy and budget, monitor its execution;
• Plan, lead, motivate the team and foster collaborative relationships with other company departments;
• Monitor and control the quality of IT outsourcing services;
• Stay up-to-date with technology advancements, research the latest solutions, propose the implementation of various solutions to optimize and automate company operations.

Candidate requirements:

• Higher education in IT field;
• Previous successful experience in team leadership, demonstrating good leadership skills;
• Practical experience in managing large-scale IT projects, system development, implementation, and maintenance, product development;
• Excellent knowledge of IT security issues;
• Understanding of various technology fundamentals, ability to navigate technical specifications;
• Experience in department budget planning and strategy development;
• Experience in working with service providers;
• Ability to plan, organize, and set priorities;
• Excellent communication and argumentation skills;
• Fluency in Latvian and English;
• High emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

• Salary ranging from 5000 to 5500 EUR gross;
