For employers, salary isn’t the sole criterion when hiring new leaders either. They don’t select candidates purely based on their salary expectations but consider the potential contributions to the company. If a new leader can significantly increase profits, reduce costs, or improve competitiveness, the company is willing to offer a higher salary than its competitors.
